Senior ISC Project Management Manager

As a Senior ISC Project Management Manager here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing logistics transportation carrier service and 3rd Party Logistics (3PL) warehouse provider Post Goods Issue (PGI) performance and Order-to-Cash (OTC) process flows for our Energy & Sustainability Solutions (ESS) business group. You will be responsible for leading and overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of transformation and continuous improvement projects and strategies to deliver world class service and competitive superiority through logistics excellence.

The successful candidate must be a self-starter and detailed and data oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to collaborate and lead cross functional teams and projects through implementation and possess a demonstrated track record of achieving results and operational excellence. In addition, the candidate must be able to operate in a highly matrixed environment, communicate with all levels of the organization, influence, and gain commitment.

You will report directly to our Senior Director of Logistics and you’ll work out of our Charlotte, NC location on a hybrid work schedule.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
\n\n
Customer Delivery On-time to First Promise (OTFP)
\n\nDrive carrier EDI/shipment messaging and on-time pick-up (OTP) and delivery (OTD) performance improvements including submission of late reason codes across North America, EMEA, and APAC regions.\nLead weekly carrier service performance Management Operating System (MOS) with Regional Logistics Leaders, Corporate Logistics, and 4th Party Logistics provider. Identify carrier service defects, root causes, trends, and improvement actions and solutions, and drive sustainable improvements (e.g., carrier service reliability, planning, systems, transit table updates, etc.) to achieve OTP, OTD and OTFP goals.\nBuild carrier service improvement roadmaps and drive implementation.\nDevelop and present carrier delivery service by Region and Business vs. goals and improvement actions and status in monthly Management Operating Reviews (MOR).\nLead carrier transit times and pick and pack times analyses and updates in SAP. Lead shipping calendar updates in SAP\n\nOn-time PGI
\n\nDrive on-time execution to planned PGI date performance across 3PL warehouses in North America, EMEA, and APAC regions.\nLead MOS with Regional Logistics Leaders and 3PL’s. Identify defects, root causes, trends, and improvement actions and solutions, and drive sustainable improvements cross-functionally and with 3PL’s to achieve on-time PGI goals.\nProcess map cross-functional processes and transactional flows.\nBuild on-time PGI improvement roadmaps and drive implementation.\nDevelop and present PGI performance by 3PL warehouse, Region and Business vs. goals and improvement actions and status in monthly MOR.\n\nOTC
\n\nLead improvement workstream(s) to optimize OTC process flows and increase efficiencies to reduce complexity, manual work, and costs, accelerate cash realization and decision making, and improve customer service.\n\n\n

YOU MUST HAVE
\n\nMinimum 7 years of experience in transportation, logistics operations or supply chain management for manufacturing shipper\n5+ years of project management experience\nStrong knowledge of transportation, warehousing, and inventory management principles\n\n\n

Strong record of setting ambitious business targets, defining execution path, and achieving results\nExcellent business acumen\nAbility to operate in a fast paced and global complex, multi-cultural, and matrix environment\nExperience with value stream mapping\nProficient in use of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and Power BI\nSAP experience in Transportation and Warehouse Management\nSix Sigma Certification\nExperience applying Lean methodology and tools\nPrior experience improving on-time transportation delivery service and PGI performance\nTransportation management experience with emphasis on Full Truckload, Less-than-Truckload, and Ocean transportation modes\nPMP certified\nExperience in Chemical industry\n\n
