Senior ISC Project Manager

About you and this role:

As the Senior Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) Project Manager you will have responsibility and accountability for overall project results and achievement of project goals/objectives as they relate to the business opportunity. You will have experience in all project phases including Front End Loading, Design, Procurement, Construction, and Start-up. Projects requiring this level of leadership are regional in nature and are quite significant in size and/or complexity.

Responsibilities:

Serves as the leader of the project team accountable for project results and for the implementation of and adherence to all relevant work processes.Develops project scope the meets the needs of the business opportunity and ensures stakeholders are aligned upon the scope through functional reviews.Ensures cost estimate adequately represents project scope and managing spending within the authorized budgets and spending plans.Works closely with business leadership to secure funding through the authorization process.Ensures project schedule is based upon sound data and aligned with business objectives. Monitors progress closely against baseline plans.Ensures plans are in place to allow for smooth transition of the project to ISC.Works with department leaders to secure lead resources and once assigned ensures staffing plans are developed and monitored against plan.Provides effective communication and coordination between the project team and key stakeholders. Provides regular updates on scope, objectives/goals, cost, progress vs. plan and risks.Uses and enforces project change management program including securing DOA approvals per the process.Fosters a work environment with a high level of integrity and strong safety focus that embraces diversity and inclusion, innovation and sustainability, and continuous improvement and empowerment.

Qualifications:

Must have one or more of the following:

8 or more years of experience in a Supply Chain or Manufacturing Environment

A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or other Sciences

Relevant military experience at or above a U.S. E6 or Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class or Sergeant ranking

5+ of experience in manufacturing project management or other relevant experience

Must have or able to obtain Dow PMEC PM (Project Management Expertise Center) certification within two years.

A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States.  No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.
