We are seeking a well-qualified Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer with an active/current Top Secret security clearance to join our team developing very interesting US Department of Defense (DoD) / Intelligence Community (IC) systems.
This position involves the initial design, implementation, configuration, cybersecurity hardening, and successful deployment of computing/network infrastructures hosting next generation Information Warfare systems supporting battlespace awareness and information operations. These are long-term, multi-year programs offering stability and opportunities to be mentored by industry experts.
The successful candidate will have experience with the development of computing/network infrastructure for complex DoD/IC systems; cybersecurity configuration; IT automation tools implementation; and the ability to effectively perform in a dynamic, agile development environment while closely coordinating with a geographically dispersed team.
This position is based out of Chantilly/Sterling, Virginia. It is an onsite position with work at secure facilities directly interfacing with customers and teammates.
What You Will Do
Work with Integrated Product Team (IPT) teammates to design/implement network infrastructure.
Use the agile development methodology to self-assign and complete taskings from the IPT Jira board based on Program Increment priorities.
Implement automation in system infrastructure deployments
Ensure security controls assigned to systems are implemented per cybersecurity guidance.
Partner with Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and the US Government (USG) customers to ensure tasks are completed on schedule and within budget.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Experience with both Kubernetes and Helm.
Experience configuring and managing Dell or Cisco network devices.
Windows Active Directory and Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) administration.
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience.
Active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret (TS) security clearance is required prior to start date.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance .
Qualifications We Prefer:
Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), Counter-intelligence (CI) poly preferred.
Dell PowerStore or equivalent storage technology experience.
Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) configuration to include Administrator functions and bash scripting.
Ansible experience building and configuring Linux hosts and Kubernetes clusters.

The salary range for this role is 85,000 USD - 179,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
