**Job Overview:**
The Senior IT Pillar Specialist uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external issues to improve the IT Pillar discipline within McDermott. They will act as a resource for colleagues with less experience and share their conceptual and practical expertise related to the IT Pillar discipline. They solve complex problems and use their discipline-specific knowledge to improve their products or services. The Senior IT Pillar Specialist impacts a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities with the IT Pillar Team and other related teams and ensures that they are working within the appropriate guidelines and policies.
**Key Tasks and Responsibilities:**
+ Actively contribute to better use of IM tools to all projects, assets and operations.
+ Raising the profile of IM from low level activities to ensure adoption.
+ Identify where the Portal functionality has superseded or could be used to enhance or make redundant other applications currently in use.
+ Promote a culture of data centric management and use via comfortable, confident and effective use of the Portal.
+ Ensure the benefits of the portal usage can be realized throughout the whole operation including the remote interior facilities
+ Recommends, designs and implements work process improvements.
+ Is aware of industry leading technology trends and applications.
+ Actively supports Lessons Learned feedback.
+ Establish new Project Portals as necessary while maintaining all necessary access securities and permissions.
+ Establish asset structures in the portal to insure that all the related asset data and documents are available from one screen.
+ Configuration and maintenance of XML gateways (Links to databases).
+ Develop reports to be used for data quality checks by creating/editing Query Forms, Tag summary pages etc.
+ Monitor and report Portal usage identifying areas of concern or where heavy usage (or not) may indicate additional development/roll out requirements.
+ Update notification and training of users in the AVEVA AIM(Net) Portal while developing and publishing the training material for all users.
+ Identify areas of potential development within the systems that can advance the asset integrity of both Engineering & operations throughout the company as well as enhancing communication and information sharing between its contractors.
+ Align and optimize Portal data flows to ensure timely, accurate and consistent publishing of required information.
+ Assist the project teams in data handover requirements as well as conducting compliance verification checks.
+ Contributes to the delivery of deployment and configuration services to our Clients and Vendors
+ Assist Sales and Business Development and Management with demonstrations, responding to Request For Information and other pre-sales activities
+ Assist / Help in AVEVA AIM(NET) servers setup and installation Including database setup and configuration.
+ Assist in managing and importing project class library into Aveva AIM(NET).
+ Excellent communication skills (English) to work in a multi-culture project environment

Manager - Area Engineering IT
**Essential Qualifications and Education:**
+ Degree in engineering or equivalent technical diploma. Strong understanding of current Engineering and design.
+ Is proficient in Aveva AIM(Net) Portal and XML Gateways
+ Certified Aveva AIM(NET) Administrator is preferred.
+ Previous experience in applying the Aveva AIM(Net) Portal Development and Administration skills to Oil and gas projects with experience on major capital projects.
+ Experience in .NET Programming, ASP, C#, XML, SQL, SQL Server, Oracle Databases, SSRS Reporting tools, IIS. Power BI Reporting
+ Possesses solid knowledge/experience (minimum 3 years) of Aveva AIM(Net) Portal administration in the support of major projects (including support of a Portal user community with the various Portal modules and Database/SSRS Reporting tools) Aveva AIM(NET) (AIM) Servers setup
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and MSProject).
+ Good understanding of FEED/Detail Design deliverables for projects. Class library, CFHIOS, Data management
+ Experience with Information Systems Data Management is a plus
+ Experience with Engineering Authoring tools and data export/import functions is a plus
