Responsibilities

SENIOR PROGRAM MANAGER 

Coordinates and monitors the scheduling, pricing, and technical performance of company programsResponsibilities also include aiding in the negotiation of contracts and contractual changes and coordinating preparations of proposals, plans, specifications, and financial conditions of contractsDevelops new business and expands product lineEnsures adherence to master plans and schedules, develops solutions to program problems, and directs work of incumbents assigned to program from various departmentsEnsures projects are completed on time and within budgetActs as advisor to program team regarding projects, tasks, and operationsFamiliar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular fieldProvides technical/management leadership on major tasks or technology assignments. Establishes goals and plans that meet project objectives. Has domain and expert technical knowledge.Comprehensive IT program (service/help desk, Tier 0-3 support, servers, networking, peripherals, HW/SW support, communications, cybersecurity) for user base of ~27,000IT Service Management (ITSM)Directs and controls activities for a client, having overall responsibility for financial management, methods, and staffing to ensure that technical requirements are met. Interactions involve client negotiations and interfacing with senior management. Decision making and domain knowledge may have a critical impact on overall project implementation.Have sufficient organizational, technical and contractual level of authority within the Contractor organization to ensure full access to corporate personnel, the commitment of resources that may be necessary in the performance of this task order, and in the technical and contractual resolution of all issues that pertain to that performanceDevelop and maintain business management policies and procedures for all task areas. Coordinate program activities including, but not limited to, cost estimating and reporting; financial oversight; subcontractor management; deliverable schedule and reports; and expenditure reportsAppoint management leads with a manager to employee ratio that can sufficiently present oversight and direction for activities in support of the GovernmentEnsure attainment and maintenance of task order AQLsMonitor compliance with small business participation of 30%;Manage and review task invoicing functions; resolve discrepant areas prior to submission to customer for payment; andAnnually refresh the technical skills of all staff in task areas of Service Desk Services, Field Services, Service Center Services, Account Management Group, and Hardware Incident Resolution at its own expense Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s Degree or higher10+ years of IT Program/Project Management experienceExperience managing 350+ FTEs in geographically dispersed locationsExperience managing programs of $175-200M+Experience with international programs/locations Active Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or equivalentActive ITIL certification

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

 

This position requires the ability to perform the below essential functions:

 

"The work is primarily sedentary requiring some walking and standing in conjunction with travel to users desks. Some travel may be required to support other USCIS locations and participation in deployment team activities. The contractor may be required to carry light items such as laptops and LCD monitors weighing up to 40 lbs. The contractor may also be required to climb ladders to perform work on ceiling mounted wireless access points. The work does not require any special physical effort."
