Title:
Senior IT Project ManagerKBR is currently seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager in support of Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) efforts related to the Enterprise Service Bus (ESB). Qualified candidates must be customer focused and capable of operating within a dynamic environment in support of IT initiatives and must have experience with managing software development/customization teams. Candidates should be highly familiar with working within an Agile environment and will be responsible for team progress, customer requirements, technology integration, and migration to the Government Cloud Environment (GCE). The successful candidate will provide direct support and leadership related to receiving and processing customer requirements and interfacing with software subject matter experts and logisticians to customize and deploy solutions. The successful candidate should possess and apply a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments, plan and lead major technology assignments, evaluate performance results, and recommend changes affecting short-term project growth and success, as well as function as a technical expert across multiple project assignments.
Responsibilities:
Participate in daily programmatic meetings to discuss status, customer needs and team progressParticipate in future requirements developmentProvide oversight related to software design and testingWork with teams involving engineering project leads, product marketing, CAD designers, and other stakeholders to ensure strong communication and overall product team integrationUnderstand how to analyze software releases to evaluate the impact this can have on product improvement, and value stream mapping workflowsEngage with team members and be familiar with concepts related to Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Product Data Management (PDM), Computer-Aided Design (CAD), Bill of Material (BOM) Management, Mechanical/Electrical CAD, and Additive ManufacturingBasic Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree in a STEM related field plus four years’ experience in a related field.U.S. Citizenship requiredActive Secret clearance or clearance eligibility, Single Scope Background InvestigationExperience with managing software development/customization teamsUnderstanding and wide application of advanced principles, theories, concepts and techniques in Product Data Management, Project Management, Requirements Gathering, User Acceptance, Major Upgrades, Software implementation, and validation.Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 hours/week
Compensation: $125,000-150,000. The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
Additional Compensation: KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of a sign-on bonus, relocation benefits, short-term incentives, long-term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
