Job Description: We are seeking a Senior Java Developer to support our Fixed Income systems team. In this role, you will design and develop Java applications, migrate existing applications to Java-based microservices, and deploy using Docker and containers. You will be involved in the full software development lifecycle, including requirement analysis, coding, testing, and documentation. Responsibilities: * Design and develop Java applications for Fixed Income systems * Migrate applications to Java-based microservices and deploy via Docker * Participate in software development processes: requirement analysis, design, coding, testing, and documentation * Support existing Index applications while working on new initiatives * Perform application and system performance tuning and troubleshooting * Develop web-based applications and rich front-end user interfaces * Apply object-oriented concepts and design patterns * Integrate in-house applications with vendor software platforms * Set up development environments for application development * Conduct unit testing and fix errors in application code * Interface with databases to extract information and generate reports * Interact effectively with customers, business users, and IT staff
