Senior Java Developer
We are hiring a Senior Java Developer to join our organization on a remote basis (CST/EST). Technologies: + Minimum 8 years of experience with Java + Experienced with Spring Boot + Built Modern API's + Experience with NoSQL + Enterprise level experience with OpenShift and AWS + Experience with GitHub + Experience building Microservices + Experience with Event driven architecture + Experience with Kafka Responsibilities: + As an Engineer, you will be responsible for creating and modifying solutions to complex software problems. This includes coding, testing, debugging, documenting, and maintaining these solutions. You will lead smaller engineering efforts and contribute to larger, enterprise-wide initiatives. + Apply technical knowledge to drive customer outcomes. + Work and problem-solve independently on initiatives aligned with the broader software engineering strategy. + Design solutions within the core framework of our software products. + Participate in low-level design for the product area within the team. + Use independent, critical thinking to solve complex problems significant to the customer. + Work both independently and collaboratively with the team to develop core software that delivers outcomes. + Consistently deliver core software that meets or exceeds team expectations for stability, scalability, and resilience. + Seek opportunities to learn new technologies that improve the product and its lifecycle. + Participate in team collaboration sessions to provide technical expertise and remove technical roadblocks. + Engage in product planning and implementation, helping the team understand and decompose work. + Participate in the team support rotation and build knowledge on focus subsystems. + Provide technical expertise to help the team solve technical and software issues. + Train and mentor junior developers. + Participate in the interview process or be part of the panel to recruit the right talent for the team. + Bring thought leadership to the team. + Partner with various Architects and Engineers to design solutions. + Modernize old legacy processes. + Be dynamic and flexible, as there is a lot of ambiguity and few established patterns. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $80.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
