**Team Background** The Credit Risk Technology Team is responsible for delivering Counterparty Credit Risk Management software solutions. These tools allow salespeople, traders, operations staff and risk officers to manage Citi’s exposure to financial institutions, governments and corporates that trade with Citi. The team builds and maintains software that provides a complete platform for our users: limit monitoring, exception management, stress testing analysis and escalation workflow capabilities are some key areas of focus. Our users rely on the system for an integrated view of trades, collateral, market data, across many dozens of sources. **Position Overview** We are looking for a skilled and motivated **Senior Java Full Stack Developer** to join our team. In this role, you will work on designing, developing, and deploying high-quality software solutions, leveraging your expertise in modern Java technologies and frontend frameworks. If you have a passion for problem-solving and creating impactful applications, this role is for you. **Key Responsibilities** + Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications using Java 11+, Spring, and Spring Boot. + Build RESTful APIs and microservices to support scalable architectures. + Integrate with Elastic Search and other database/search solutions for optimized performance. + Monitor and troubleshoot backend systems using tools like Splunk. + Develop user interfaces using React to ensure an intuitive and seamless user experience. + Collaborate with UX/UI designers to deliver high-quality web interfaces. + Work with APIs from various Java ecosystem libraries and external providers. + Ensure smooth data flow and integration between frontend and backend components. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement technical requirements. + Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices and design principles. + Conduct code reviews, provide mentorship, and promote a culture of continuous improvement. + Debug and optimize applications to improve performance, reliability, and scalability. + Monitor and analyze system performance, resolving any bottlenecks. **Key Skills & Qualifications** + **Languages & Frameworks** : Proficiency in Java 11+ (or newer), Spring, Spring Boot, and React. + **API Development** : Expertise in building and consuming RESTful APIs. + **Search Solutions** : Hands-on experience with Elastic Search. + **Monitoring Tools** : Knowledge of Splunk or similar logging/monitoring platforms. + **Frontend Skills** : Strong experience in JavaScript, React, and related modern frontend technologies. + **Version Control** : Familiarity with Git or other version control systems. + **Agile Methodologies** : Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments. + **Other Tools** : Exposure to containerization (Docker) and CI/CD pipelines is a plus. **Preferred Qualifications** + Graduate in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) discipline.
