Job description

Infosys is seeking Senior Java Fullstack Developer. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty; be part of a learning culture, where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, and diversity is respected and valued.

This position is based out of Charlotte, NC. This position may require re-location and or travel to project location.

Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.6+ years of hands-on experience in Java as Full Stack Developer with primary expertise in Spring framework.Experience in using Spring Framework (Spring Core, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring JDBC, Spring ORM) and hands-on implementing RESTful endpoints.Experience with Microservices architecture applications using Spring Boot, Spring Cloud.Experience in Spring Security 5 with OAuth 2.0 and JWT for authentication and authorization.Expertise in Amazon Web Services like EC2, ELB, ECS, S3, SQS, Code Build, Code Deploy, Code pipeline, andCloud Watch.Highly skilled in Java 8 features such as Lambda Expressions, Streams, Functional Interfaces, Stream API.Experience in SDLC methodology such as Agile Scrum and agile tools like JIRA, Rally, etc.Ability to deploy and test web application in Microservices framework using Docker Container.Strong experience with version control and Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools like Gitand Jenkins with deploying tools like Maven and Gradle.​​​​U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency required; we are not able to sponsor at this timePreferred Qualifications:Ability to design and develop code components independently as per client requirements.Contribute to the Design and development of high-quality software for large-scale Java/Spring Boot/Micro-service Applications.Analyze business requirements and create technical design documents that are in accordance with the company's architecture standards.Supporting the execution of this program ensuring quality delivery of digital artifacts in alignment with the client’s eCommerce roadmap.Interact with tech lead to understand technology direction/changes, standards, and best practices.Experience working with the coordination of multiple teams.Participate in discussions with customers as needed and articulate the value delivered by proposed technical solutions.Strong experience with high volume B2C / B2B eCommerce systems.Experience in Designing the modules and interfaces.Strong hands-on experience along with customizing the applications related to Java/J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, REST, JSON, and Micro Services.Strong understanding of microservice architecture.Ability to design, develop and implement scalable, elastic microservice-based platforms.Excellent problem-solving/troubleshooting skills in Java/J2EE technologies.Resolves technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation.Ability to work in a team environment and client interfacing skills.Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
