The Opportunity

UCMDB/UD software is a configuration management enterprise application used by large IT organizations to document and store the business service definitions and associated infrastructure relationship. Full-fledged Java application server, with a UI developed in React and a discovery module relying on Python, UCMDB/UD fulfills the need of the user to create a shared single version of truth to support business service management, IT service management, change management, and asset management initiatives. These initiatives help align IT efforts with business requirements and run IT operations more efficiently and effectively.

What the role offers

Assumes overall accountability for a successful implementation, ensures solutions are properly delivered on time with quality.

Develop & Design new features, design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code

Handles customer escalation or ticket, supports professional support and technical service teams.

Defines and disseminates technology best practices, ensures we are proactive in our pursuit of new solutions and innovation within our technology practice

Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications

Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems

Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders

What you need to succeed

Bachelor or above degree in a relevant field of study (Computer Science, Telecommunications etc.)

Solid understanding of fundamental design and architecture patterns such as: n-tier, Publish/Subscribe, REST, MVC, Data Access (OR/M, DAO’s…etc.)

Hands-on programming and debugging skills on Java, Experience with Spring framework, Message Queue and and containerization development

Knowledge of SQL language and experience in working with DB

Knowledge of CI/CD and automation frameworks

Experience in large-scale multi-tier software applications

Ability to adopt and learn new process/business/technical knowledge. Teamwork is the key to success.

Familiar with Kubernetes, Docker, Cloud is a good plus.
