As a Senior Job Captain at Ware Malcomb, you will play a key role in delivering innovative solutions tailored to a dedicated client. You will lead project coordination efforts, ensuring seamless communication between the client, consultants, and internal teams. You will contribute to all design phases and leverage your technical expertise to review and coordinate project documentation. Your strong attention to detail and communication skills will drive efficiency, innovation, and successful project delivery. Your RoleLead project coordination across all phases to deliver documents for permits and construction, ensuring compliance with country-specific, regional, and municipal building codes. Review and assist with design, including creating prototypes, performing test-fit designs, and validating site requirements and constraints to maximize operational efficiency and optimize building layout. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and third-party consultants to ensure the design meets client needs and adheres to project specifications. Perform peer reviews of drawings and documentation to ensure quality control and compliance with design standards.Coordinate and respond to RFIs and address any specification-related queries, ensuring timely updates to project documentation based on approved changes.Assist with preparation of project schedules and budgets under supervision, ensuring the timely completion of tasks and alignment with project goals. Review and track the implementation of design changes and coordinate with stakeholders to resolve pending issues and ensure that all documents reflect current standards.Support sustainability initiatives by aligning design standards with environmental goals, and create or update design standards based on client requirements.Utilize BIM software (Revit, AutoCAD) and project management tools (Smartsheet, Excel) to support design and construction documentation, including updates to cloud platforms such as BIM360.Track project risks, provide regular updates to stakeholders, and ensure accountability among team members to meet project deadlines.Facilitate communication across teams, consultants, and clients to address design issues and ensure smooth project delivery.Manage and track progress through various reporting tools, including the generation of status reports and meeting coordination to address outstanding issues.QualificationsBachelor’s Degree, preferably in an architectural related program.Minimum of 5 years of experience within the field of architecture.Experience working on large-scale commercial or industrial projects preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish. Strong experience in the use of Revit and AutoCAD.
