The person in this position is will assess employability and work readiness skills for the people who we support. The ideal candidate will develop appropriate community job matches and then market people we support to area employers. This supervisory position initiates public relations contact with local private businesses, as well as major area employers, to increase awareness of employment opportunities and job capabilities for the people we support. The Senior Job Developer provides mentoring and supervises Job Developers and Job Coaches within the agency, and is the liaison with the local office of Access-VR. HOURS: 40/Monday through Friday/must be flexible based on needs of program STARTING SALARY: $ 60,405.80 per year Minimum Requirements + Bachelor's degree in Human Services or a related field, or a minimum of three years of experience in job placement and vocational rehabilitation + Supervisory experience is preferred + Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal + Acceptable NYS Driver's license + Must have his or her own transportation/reliable vehicle + Computer skills
