Senior Journey Marketing Specialist, Platform and Operations(HYBRID)

About Us: Are you ready to drive meaningful growth and innovation in the insurance? We are seeking a  Senior Journey Marketing Specialist, Platform and Operations to drive the strategic solution development within GEICO Mar-tech. This role is ideal for someone who excels in working with data to  design sophisticated marketing solutions and infrastructure. 

Role Overview: As the Senior Journey Marketing Specialist, Platform and Journey Operations, you will be responsible for building audience and measurement capabilities across GEICO’s known consumer Mar-tech stack. You will work closely with the Senior Manager, Platform and Journey Operations to support marketers to execute strategy, test and iterate on multi-channel journeys.  

 

Responsibilities: 

Use proficiency in Mar-tech tools used to support the technical architecture and daily operations of GEICOs Journey and Customer Data platforms, focusing on system optimization and advanced journey configurations. 

Implement and refine complex SQL queries to ensure accurate audiences, segmentation and data integrity for targeting campaigns and delivering personalization. 

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, and Marketing Analytics, to architect end-to-end solutions.

Translate asks by strategists for consumer centric marketing into clear, actionable requirements for system enhancements and integrations. 

Proficient at documenting technical architectures, solutions, and innovations to guide future implementations and enable other team members to utilize solutions at scale. 

Conduct in-depth analyses to troubleshoot and resolve issues

 

Qualifications:  

The ideal candidate for this role will be proactive and customer obsessed with a keen eye for detail and a passion for technology-driven marketing. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and possess a strong ability to think critically and solve complex problems.

Bachelor’s Degree or relevant years of experience 

3-5 years of experience in digital marketing, CRM, or campaign management with a significant focus on data analysis and technical design. 

Experience working in Journey based marketing tools , Customer Data Platforms, and Data Warehouses (Snowflake preferred). 

Advanced proficiency in SQL, with extensive knowledge of database management and data modeling. 

Demonstrated ability to design and document comprehensive technical solutions that align with organizational objectives. 

Experience in the Insurance, Financial Services, Telecom or other subscription-based businesses strongly preferred. 

Ability to balance multiple projects and changing requirements, with strong troubleshooting skills. 

Proficiency with MS Office Suite and other productivity tools including PowerBI, and Azure Dev Ops preferred

Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills 

Strong organization and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment 

Location:

This position is a hybrid role, on-site 3 days per week and 2 days remote at one of the following office locations:

Chevy Chase, MD, New York, NY, or Chicago, IL

Annual Salary

$102,000.00 - $168,000.00

The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
