Senior Key Account Executive

Lytx is currently looking for Key Account Managers to join our Mid-market Sales team. The Lytx Direct Sales Team ensures our highly valued customers achieve extraordinary results by configuring the right solutions to meet business needs and reach their highest return on their investment. We help fleets identify risk, stay safer, optimize efficiency and gain greater productivity. Our innovative hardware, software, and API integrations provide a single, consolidated view of a fleet for our customers, and our Account Executives help customers understand how to achieve maximum value from our products.

As a Senior Key Account Manager (KAM), you are a key contributor to growing and enhancing our existing customer base and driving customer retention and expansion through top sales tactics, consultation, and optimization of Lytx products. Are you successful at upselling new solutions, understanding client needs, and aligning offerings within safety, IT and operations departments? If you excel at building relationships, mining opportunities and selling technical solutions, come join our team!

You’ll Get To:

Develop strategies to build and manage pipeline to meet short-term and long-term sales goals

Proactively cultivate relationships with customers, develop deep understanding of business needs, analyze industry position, and develop sales strategy for each stage of the sales process for expansions, upgrades and renewals within existing client base

Lead sales pursuits, orchestrate strategy, and use key internal resources to provide competitive and compelling solutions and sales plans

Oversee numerous accounts and lead planning efforts to meet sales goals

Position oneself as an inspiring leader and trusted advisor to executive-level decision makers

Develop value-proposition presentations and specialized business plans for customers

Create proposals and negotiate contracts, using cross functional partners as needed

Independently prepare and align cross-functional support to solve sophisticated problems, influence and win deals

What You’ll Need:

Minimum 5 years consultative sales or account management experience, including 3-5 years in SaaS or fleet industry preferred

Proven success building and managing pipeline to achieve targets; managing full sales cycle for mid-market sized deals, focusing on return on investment, engagement with senior level decision makers, organizational change, and partner/leadership selling

Driven sales professional with professional communication; highly collaborative cross-functionally and possesses the drive and dedication to consistently over-achieve quotas

Skilled at problem-solving sophisticated situations using analytical skills, creativity, and sound business judgment

Highly organized and dedicated with ability to keep a pulse on multiple accounts and handle complex, time sensitive priorities efficiently

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required

Outstanding relationship building strategies with clients and cross-functional departments

Interest in continuous deep technical learning

Experience in telematics industry or related SaaS solutions a plus

Ability to travel (up to 20%)

This role is paid a flat rate, in addition to being eligible for an incentive compensation plan.  The flat rate is:

$110,000.00
