Primary Job Functions

Actively design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions across multiple platforms (Azure, Google Cloud) and implementations into Kubernetes platforms, and understand the concept of cattle vs pets, but the reality of which is which, why, and how to build solutions around that.Design and implement enterprise-scale Kubernetes clusters and supporting infrastructureDevelop and maintain custom Kubernetes operators and controllersCreate and optimize CI/CD pipelines for Kubernetes deploymentsImplement security best practices and compliance controlsDesign and implement multi-cluster management solutionsArchitect high-availability and disaster recovery solutionsDevelop automation for cluster lifecycle managementImplement service mesh and networking solutionsCreate and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC)Optimize cluster performance and resource utilizationImplement observability and monitoring solutionsProvide technical leadership and mentoring to team membersDesign and implement GitOps workflowsTroubleshoot complex platform issuesDevelop and maintain architecture documentation while actively participating in the implementationCreate and execute disaster recovery and business continuity solutionsImplement monitoring and observability solutions across the technology stackActively participate in code reviews and development activitiesDesign, implement, and utilize centralized identity and access management solutionsDemonstrate the Company's Core and Growth Values in the performance of all job functions

Job Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience

Experience:

Kubernetes certifications (CKA, CKAD, CKS)Experience with Kubernetes Operators FrameworkContribution to open-source Kubernetes projectsExperience with service mesh technologiesKnowledge of security frameworks and compliance standardsMulti-cloud platform experienceExperience with large-scale deployments (100+ nodes) Demonstrated expertise in cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, Kubernetes clouds)Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation)Deep understanding and implementation experience with security frameworks and compliance standards.Experience with enterprise integration patterns and their implementation
