As a Senior Lead Architect at JPMorgan Chase within the Merchant Payments team of Commercial and Investment Banking, you are an integral part of a team that works to develop high-quality architecture solutions for various software applications and platforms products. You drive significant business impact and help shape the target state architecture through your capabilities in multiple architecture domains.
Job responsibilities
Engages technical teams and business stakeholders to discuss and propose design approaches to meet current and future needsDefines the target state of their product and drives achievement of the strategyDefines strategy, roadmap for product go to marketParticipates in architecture governance bodiesEvaluates recommendations and provides feedback on business needs, options to get to marketExecutes creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with the ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problemsIdentifies opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systemsLeads evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to drive outcomes-oriented probing of architectural designs, technical credentials, and applicability for use within existing systems and informationRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experienceStrong experience in acquiring / merchant services payment.Strong experience as a functional architect (business / product)Experience with domain model, understands business process flow, client experience and use casesUnderstands business capability, features taxonomy Advanced knowledge of one or more software, applications, and architecture disciplinesDemonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)Strong technical background and experience. Ability to understand business requirements, create design, create technical delivery roadmap and technical know howsIn-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systemsPractical cloud native experiencePreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skillsPoint of Sale experience is a plusBiometrics experience is a plusExcellent communication and presentation skills#LI-HC2
