Responsibilities
As a Legends brand ambassador, the senior captain orchestrates a memorable guest experience by fostering a warm, pleasant and welcoming environment.
• Thorough knowledge of food and beverage offerings including ingredients, sources, preparation methods and allergens
Qualifications
• A minimum of three to five (3-5) years’ experience in a similar role Minimum 2 years’ experience as a captain in a fine dining establishment in NYC preferred Experience using restaurant point-of-sale (POS) systems Ability to make responsible, impromptu decisions in accordance with the steps of service and company standards Strong food and beverage knowledge, ability to properly articulate menu selections Possesses strong organizational and multitasking skills Is result-driven, works well under pressure in a fast-paced environment Superb customer service and interpersonal skills Professional, articulate, friendly, and punctual
