Checks completed layouts, communicates with other engineering personnel, resolves design problems, designs new products, maintains existing products, resolves difficult-to-complex design problems, and implements common procedures. **Job Responsibilities:** + Perform linear, non - linear, linear dynamic analysis like modal harmonic and random vibration analysis for mechanical and HVAC systems. + Good understanding and hands on in performing Vibro-acoustics and NVH analysis. + Ability to interpret the physical testing results (Impact, Sweep, shaker table & DB levels). + Provide effective design solutions to optimize product functionality, reliability and stability. + Provide technical expertise in problem resolution, cost reduction, and quality improvement. + Willing to travel (if and when needed) to interact with offshore team and develop domain knowledge as needed. + Provide accurate and detailed reports of FEA results. + Perform technical design reviews and recommend improvements. + Work with testing team in developing and executing design verification plans and mechanical testing methods. + Attend team meetings to discuss about design techniques and issues. + Ensure that product design and performance meets technical and functional requirements. + Guide less experienced staff in design engineering techniques. + Develop process improvements and standard work practices for operational efficiency. **Role Purpose:** + Develop and maintain specific CAE/FEA methodologies for HVAC product lines. + Testing / Simulation coordination: conduct correlation studies between FEA and lab testing for improvement and verification of FEA models and improvement in accuracy and consistency of lab testing of test components or system/sub-systems. **Minimum Requirements:** + MS or M Tech degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Aerospace / Engineering Science) from a recognized university with 8-10 years of experience. + Strong background in dynamic analysis including vibration, fatigue and Numerical Methods + Hands on experience on tools like MSC Nastran, Patran, Actran, ANSYS mechanical **Benefits** + We are committed to offering competitive benefits programs for all of our employees, and enhancing our programs when necessary. + Have peace of mind and body with our health insurance + Make yourself a priority with flexible schedules and leave Policy + Drive forward your career through professional development opportunities Achieve your personal goals with our Employee Assistance Program. **Our commitment to you** + Our greatest assets are the expertise, creativity and passion of our employees.
