Responsible for road maps, standards, best practices, and recommendations.Provide subject matter expertise for Enterprise Networking Solutions including design, configuration, integration, and implementation.Partner with senior leadership on the research and analysis of emerging technologies that support current and future business objectives.Lead enterprise technology evaluations and roadmap discussions with third party vendors. Ensure recommendations are based on business relevance, cost effectiveness and infrastructure flexibility.Work with senior leadership and IT partners on Capital and Operating budgets to include creation, allocation, review, and approval.Responsible for the assessment of existing Information Technology infrastructure and applications to establish opportunities for optimization and performance tuning. Recommend and provide technical support processes, metrics and SLAs that ensure and improve system uptime and reliability.Lead programs that develop, maintain, and support enterprise networking solutions across the organization.Partner with department leaders to implement new and/or replace approved business systems.Perform continuous mentorship and development of junior staff members. Provide a point of escalation for support. Participate in the development of the team including recruitment and growth opportunities.Develop and perform comprehensive test cases to include testing scenarios for both normal and degraded operations (e.g., disaster recovery, business continuity, data replication, data recovery, security events). Provide results analysis to include pass/fail criteria, performance criteria and capacity planning.Responsible for the growth and delivery of Managed Service Provider solutions.Support and document the implementation of approved system software and networking architecture components.Oversee projects from inception to closure, ensuring they are completed according to business requirements and stakeholder standards.Develop technical documentation, policies, and procedures for networking infrastructure and support. Communicate technical standards to information technology teams and junior team members.Engage with IT team leadership on matters concerning technical system design, engineering, and integration.Provide quality and efficient Information Technology support.Ability to prioritize multiple concurrent assignments.Comply with all applicable Loews Hotels policies and standards.May be required to work varying schedules to reflect business needs.Your Experience Includes:
College Degree or /Technical degree.5+ years providing enterprise technical and application support.Relevant education and IT certifications.In depth knowledge of Routing, Switching, BGP, OSPF, VPN, DMVPN, WAN backbone, OSI Model, Multicast, and SDN Technologies.Strong experience with Network Analysis Tools; Solar Winds, Meraki, Wireshark and Cisco preferred.Solid understanding of Perimeter Security Technologies to include Firewalls, IPS, VPN, and NAC.Hands on experience with Server and Network Virtualization technologies.Expert knowledge on the implementation, management, and support of Enterprise Network Technologies.Knowledge of enterprise solutions from Cisco, Aruba, Corning, Palo Alto, Barracuda, Lenovo, Ruckus, SolarWinds, and Fortinet.Understanding of enterprise network infrastructure hardware and software life cyclesFamiliarity with PCI and SOX standards as it pertains to infrastructure security.Willing and able to travel up to 20% based on project needs.
