Across our US Studio system or within client development sites, our Digital Engineering teams ideate and develop innovative cloud-based solutions following a Lean-Agile process with DevOps culture. Responsibilities: Upgrade applications to Java 17 standard baseline. Upgrade applications to Spring Boot 3.3.x or above standard baseline. Upgrade applications to Apache Camel 4.0.0 or above standard baseline. Migrate Azure Cosmos DB data from version 1.9 to new 2.0 instances. Migrate Azure SQL data from version 1.9 to new 2.0 instances. Migrate Azure Storage Account container documents from version 1.9 to new 2.0 instances. Migrate enterprise log data from ELK to EAGLE. Migrate APIs from Chubb’s APIM platform 1.9 to API Studio (API Platform 2.0) for API management in Azure 2.0. Ensure all application specific NSGs for sources or destinations are set up by application owners using Jenkins NSG self-service job. Migrate all applications through Chubb’s supported environment stack, including production. Expectations: Work closely with SME(s) to implement migration execution plan. Work closely with application owners, as directed by SME(s), to verify upgrade completeness and quality. Work closely with QA team(s) to perform regression testing of migrated applications and obtain testing approval for production deployment. Report daily to collaborators progress and raise any issues for resolution. Create production change requests and get approvals via Chubb’s ServiceNow system for change management. Deploy migrated applications to production and validate applications function as expected. Perform cutover from 1.9 to 2.0 for all applications. For APIs, migrate existing APIs from 1.9 APIM platform to 2.0 platform. Salary and Other Compensation:The annual salary for this position is between $81,337 – $141,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
