Compensation includes a base salary of $117,300.00 - $195,500.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic Senior Lead - Network Architecture Strategy to join our team and play a key role in defining our strategic network architecture. In this role, you will be responsible for distilling complex technical concepts into actionable insights for senior executives, fostering informed decision-making at the highest levels of the organization, and supporting strategic planning and analysis efforts to define and enhance the network architecture for CCI. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives, assess network infrastructure requirements, and develop actionable recommendations to support our long-term growth and competitiveness.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Forge robust partnerships with engineering, operations, finance, and other departments, ensuring their perspectives are integrated into network architecture initiatives. Distill complex technical concepts into digestible insights for senior executives, fostering informed decision-making at the highest levels of the organization.  Documentation and Reporting: Prepare comprehensive documentation, reports, and presentations to communicate findings, recommendations, and project status to senior leadership and stakeholders.  Technology Evaluation: Work with domain engineers to evaluate emerging technologies, standards, and protocols to identify opportunities for innovation and competitive advantage.Vendor Management: Collaborate with vendors and partners to assess capabilities, negotiate contracts, and ensure the successful implementation of network solutions.  Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and develop RFIs and RFPs that lead to network design and implementation.Strategic Planning: Develop and illustrate strategies to optimize the network architecture in alignment with business goals and industry best practices.  Risk Assessment: Facilitate the identification of potential risks and vulnerabilities in the network architecture, and help develop mitigation plans to ensure the security and reliability of our services.Network Design: Support the design and development of scalable and resilient network architectures that meet current and future demands for data, voice, and video services.  Performance Monitoring:
Support the creation of key performance indicators ( KPIs) and metrics to monitor the performance and effectiveness of the network architecture, making continuous improvements as needed. 

 

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field  and 8 years of experience in business analysis with experience in network architecture, or related projects within the telecommunications industry. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master’s degree and 6years’ experience; a Ph.D. and 3 years’ experience in a related field; or 20 years’ experience in a related field.Proficient in synthesizing complex technical concepts into clear and concise presentations, enabling high-level decision-making by senior executives.Strong understanding of cable MSO technologies, including DOCSIS, HFC, fiber optics, and IP networking.Proven track record of envisioning complex network architecture projects from conception through implementation.Expert PowerPoint and Excel skills.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to think strategically and creatively.Exceptional executive presence, communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
