Kforce has a client in San Jose, CA that is seeking a Senior/Lead Product Manager - Data & Analytics. Candidates in San Francisco or Rocklin may be considered. They must be able to work onsite 4 days a week. Summary: In this role, the Senior/Lead Product Manager will be part of the team responsible for delivering strategic solutions to drive value to our business partners and the company. Our job is to ensure that we deliver quality IT initiatives that exceed the expectations of our customers and provide a return on our technology investment. The Senior/Lead Product Manager will consult and work with the business stakeholders, project managers, architects, development teams, and others to gather and define, then develop and document client requirements as both functional specifications then translate them to technical requirements to ensure successful deployment of deliverables. Our ideal candidate has a technical understanding of systems and applications. Responsibilities: * Serves as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization to provide product and user experience solutions to meet the business needs * Develops high level business requirements and translates them into functional specifications for the IT organization and manages changes to such specifications * Negotiates agreements and commitments by facilitating communication between the business and IT from initial requirements to final implementation * Uses expertise to further development of company objectives and principles and to achieve goals in creative and effective ways * May provide tactical work direction to team members
