Senior Lead Risk Analytics Consultant

It all begins with you. **About this role:** Wells Fargo is seeking for **Senior Lead Risk Analytics Consultants** to join the Credit Risk Analytics, Governance and Execution team. As a member of this team, you will support consumer lines of business (LOBs) and the business-aligned credit risk officer (CRO) teams, specifically focused on testing, oversight, supporting credit risk management strategies, and enhancing the company's risk management through quantitative analytics and effective quantitative challenge of consumer strategies. This role will provide governance and influence across areas responsible for ensuring credit policies, programs, products, decisions, and strategies align to business and enterprise risk framework objectives, are within business and enterprise credit risk appetite limits, are well controlled and monitored, adhere to governance and enterprise program requirements, and effectively manage risk. This role interacts with the consumer LOB and CRO teams, and other credit risk and business units daily. In addition, this role will support direct communication with external regulators and internal audit. **In this role, you will:** + Establish, design, and implement independent challenge processes including enhancing governance and oversight of consumer programs and policies, with a direct and significant impact on returns and credit risk appetite + Work with Agile and Non-Agile development teams across the organization to achieve the goals of the CRO organization + Provide and lead analytics around the processes, including origination, line management, collections, loss mitigation, and other areas in consumer LOBs + Provide and lead the credit decision process, including credit decisions at origination, line management, collections, loss mitigation, and other areas where credit decisions are made by consumer LOBs + Challenge the processes across consumer businesses, using statistical models, rule based strategies, overrides or other process components + Deliver solutions that are modular and reusable, and scale across consumer products + Coordinate highly complex matrixed activities across consumer credit, CRO, and LOB areas + Build and support governance routines, and independent testing of the credit process + Document the strategy process and execution within the process + Develop and deploy tools that aid the business lines and CROs + Monitor, assess and report on asset quality, portfolio trends and credit policy exception trends + Provide vision, direction and expertise to senior leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutions + Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals + Interact with internal and external customers operating in a hub and spoke framework + Collaborate with LOBs for oversight of risk management + Interact with Audit, Legal, external agencies, and regulatory bodies on risk related topics **Required Qualifications:** + 7+ years of Risk Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education **Desired Qualifications:** + 7+ years of financial services experience with minimum of 5 years in consumer; consumer credit and risk experience strongly preferred + Quantitative experience in modeling or analytics in consumer risk management + Credit risk experience across the credit life cycle (new originations, account management, collections/loss mitigation) + Experience with credit evaluation (quality assurance, risk asset review, etc.) + Proven ability to influence and lead in a highly matrixed environment + Proven ability to credibly challenge leadership and influence decision-making + Software and tool design experience with a pragmatic perspective **Posting Locations:** + 401 S Tryon Street, Charlotte, North Carolina + 1445 Ross Ave, Dallas, Texas + 600 S 4th St, Minneapolis, Minnesota + 800 S Jordan Creek Pkwy, West Des Moines, Iowa + 1150 W Washington St, Tempe, Arizona **Job Expectations:** + Ability to work at the approved location(s) in the job posting + This position offers a hybrid work schedule + This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship ***Job posting may come down early due to volume of applicants.** **Posting End Date:** 16 Sep 2024 ***Job posting may come down early due to volume of applicants.** **We Value Diversity** At Wells Fargo, we believe in diversity, equity and inclusion in the workplace; accordingly, we welcome applications for employment from all qualified candidates, regardless of race, color, gender, national origin, religion, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, genetic information, individuals with disabilities, pregnancy, marital status, status as a protected veteran or any other status protected by applicable law.
