As a Senior Lead Security Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Cybersecurity and Technology Controls organization, you are an integral part of an agile team that works to deliver software solutions that satisfy pre-defined functional and user requirements with the added dimension of preventing misuse, circumvention, and malicious behavior. Drive significant business impact through your capabilities and contributions and apply deep technical expertise and problem-solving methodologies to tackle a diverse array of cybersecurity challenges that span multiple technology domains.
**Job responsibilities**
+ Executes creative security solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with the ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions and break down technical problems
+ Collaborate with customers, product lines, Architecture and Engineering teams to align with overall strategy and avoid duplication of efforts
+ Manage key relationships and communications with stakeholders and vendors including to senior executives
+ Identifies opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems
+ Leads initiatives to improve the reliability and stability of the team's applications and platforms using data-driven analytics to improve service levels
+ Regularly provides technical guidance and direction to support the business and its technical teams, contractors, and vendors
+ Leads communities of practice across Software Engineering to drive awareness and use of new and leading-edge technologies
+ Documents and shares knowledge within the organization via internal forums and communities of practice
+ Develops secure and high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others
+ Influences peers and project decision-makers to consider the use and application of leading-edge technologies and Serves as a function-wide subject matter expert in one or more areas of focus
+ Coordinate cross-team collaboration with stakeholders
**Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills**
+ Formal training or certification on Security Engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
+ Advanced hands-on coding experience in Java/J2EE and with Spring Framework components such as AOP, Integration, MVC, Sprint boot
+ Proven experience in designing, developing, and deploying microservices architecture
+ Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
+ Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods, Application Resiliency, and Security
+ Skilled in planning, designing, and implementing enterprise level security solutions.
+ Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle.
+ Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, EKS, ECS.
+ Experience with both relational (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB)
+ Expertise in building cloud-native applications (AWS, Pivotal, or other cloud platforms)
**Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills**
+ Knowledge of Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes is a plus
+ Understanding of 3rd party vendor software installation, configuration and integration
+ Familiarity with monitoring tools (Dynatrace, Apica, Splunk)
+ Certifications in Kubernetes or AWS
