As a Senior Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Merchant Services Technology, you are an integral part of an agile team that works to enhance, build, and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. Drive significant business impact through your capabilities and contributions, and apply deep technical expertise and problem-solving methodologies to tackle a diverse array of challenges that span multiple technologies and applications. Areas of focus will include but not limited to: working on operational platforms and tools to enable efficient support of E2E technology solutions that process billions of transactions annually, working on observability of the the complex technology ecosystem, working within dynamic environments needed to support SDLC and/or solutions to facilitate release controls and governance.

Formal training or certification on AWS concepts and 5+ years applied experienceExperience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stabilityAbility to tackle design and functionality problems independently with little to no oversightHands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Pivotal Cloud Foundry, AWS, and container technologies such as Docker and KubernetesPractical AWS cloud native experience (EKS, ECS, Lambda, Glue, API Gateway, infrastructure and security)Experience in event driven (Kafka, MSK), Microservices, and RESTful architectureExperience with variety of data and persistence technologies such as SQL, No-SQL, and caching platformsHands-on development and programming experience on the Java 8+/Java EE stack including functional and reactive development models, hands on experience on the latest Spring & Spring Boot FrameworkProficient in automation and continuous delivery methods, familiarity with CI/CD tools Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills Working with and analyzing large datasets, designing and solutioning with resiliency and security considerationsExperience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field
