Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability Advanced in one or more programming language(s) and frameworks (e.g., Java, UI - React, Angular, CSS/HTML, Spring Boot, Spring, Spring Batch, Micro Services, Kafka, Containers, Rest API, Hibernate, Swagger, and Skaffold) Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle - requirement analysis, design, implementation, and testing Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD pipelines building with Git, Maven, Jenkins, SonarQube, Fortify, Application Resiliency, and Security Demonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.) Proficiency with Object-Oriented Design (OOD), Test Driven Development (TDD), and hands-on experience with test automation frameworks In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems Practical cloud native experience (e.g. AWS - S3, EKS, ECS, SQS, Lambda, Terraform, Code Deploy and PCF) Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills AWS/CKAD Certification Experience using NoSQL databases such as Cassandra, Dynamo DB, Elastic Search
