Senior Learning and Development Specialist (Organizational Development)

The Senior Learning and Development Specialist will play a pivotal role in designing, delivering, and evaluating leadership development programs that drive organizational success. This role requires a seasoned facilitator with a strong background in leadership training, organizational consulting, and coaching. The ideal candidate will have a passion for developing leaders at all levels and be adept at partnering with senior leaders to identify learning needs and deliver impactful solutions.

Responsibilities:   

Program Design and Facilitation: Design, develop, and facilitate high-impact leadership development programs tailored to various levels of leadership, including emerging leaders, mid-level managers, and executives.  Organizational Consulting: Partner with senior leaders to diagnose organizational challenges and recommend customized learning and development solutions that align with business objectives.  Content Development: Create engaging and interactive learning content, including workshops, e-learning modules, and other learning resources, using best practices in adult learning theory.  Needs Assessment: Conduct needs analyses to identify skill gaps and learning opportunities, and design interventions that enhance leadership capabilities and organizational performance.  Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business leaders to ensure learning initiatives support overall organizational strategy.  Program Evaluation: Measure the effectiveness of learning programs through assessments, surveys, and feedback loops, and make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.  Coaching: Provide one-on-one coaching for leaders, leveraging assessment tools and feedback to support professional growth and development.  Stay Current: Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in learning and development, leadership training, coaching methodologies, and organizational effectiveness. 

Required Qualifications:  

Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field; Master’s degree a plus.  7+ years of experience in learning and development, with a focus on leadership training, organizational consulting, and coaching.  Expert facilitation and presentation skills with the ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences.  Proven track record of designing and facilitating leadership development programs that drive measurable results.  Strong consulting skills with the ability to diagnose issues, design solutions, and partner effectively with senior leaders..  Certification in or heavy familiarity with Ken Blanchard SLII methodology a strong plus.  Previous leadership experience strongly preferred  Experience in executive coaching, including certification from a recognized coaching organization (e.g., ICF, CCE) a strong plus.   Knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design, and behavioral change techniques.  Ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data to inform decisions.  Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.

Compensation: Aya reasonably anticipates the pay scale for this position to be $115,000 to $150,000 annually.       

The pay scale for this position may vary if applicant possesses experience outside of what Aya reasonably anticipates for this position. Bonuses are subject to the role and your manager’s discretion.
