Senior Legal Counsel, Privacy

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Privacy Lawyer to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of privacy laws and regulations, and a proven track record of advising on complex privacy issues. This role involves providing strategic legal advice, ensuring compliance with global privacy laws, and managing privacy-related risks.Key Responsibilities:Provide expert legal advice on privacy and data protection laws, including GDPR, CCPA, and other relevant regulations.Develop and implement privacy policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws.Conduct privacy impact assessments and data protection impact assessments.Advise on data breaches and manage incident response.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate privacy considerations into business processes and projects.Monitor and analyze changes in privacy laws and regulations, and update company policies accordingly.Conduct training and awareness programs on privacy and data protection for employees.Manage relationships with external legal counsel and regulatory bodies.

Hybrid working

By default, employees are expected to be in their local AVEVA office three days a week, but some positions are fully office-based. Roles supporting particular customers or markets are sometimes remote.
