Senior General Counsel Responsibilities:
Legal Guidance: Provide expert legal advice on a range of issues, including contracts and regulatory matters. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate legal risks while ensuring compliance with relevant laws. Document Drafting: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and legal documents. Litigation Management: Oversee legal proceedings, including litigation and arbitration. Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.Senior General Counsel Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 10 years as legal counsel or in a similar role. Education: Bachelor of Law (LLB) from an accredited Canadian university; membership with the Law Society of Alberta is preferred.
