MISSION AND RESPONSIBILITIES We are looking for a Global Supply Chain attorney to be a key member of the Legal team based ideally in Amsterdam, the Netherlands or otherwise in Europe and providing legal and contractual support to the global Supply Chain function. This is an opportunity to take an active role in helping to build a best in class Procurement and Supply Chain legal organization and to contribute to the Procurement, Supply Chain and Legal team’s evolution and growth. The responsibilities of the Legal, Global Procurement and Supply Chain Counsel will include: + Reporting to the VP Legal, Global Supply and Patent in providing broad commercial law advice and counselling to all SC functions; + working hand-in-hand with the Global Procurement (GP) team for the negotiation and drafting of a wide range of commercial agreements including sourcing, supply/purchase of raw materials/packaging/chemicals/fragrance oils, third party manufacturing, industrials, warehousing, logistics, transportation, media/advertising/promotional items, global business services (IT, HR, car fleet); + advising on factory operations and closures and communications (not employment); + driving the automation of procurement contract lifecycle management globally; + training on risk areas, contract management, key topics and automation, in coordination with the SVP Global Compliance and CSR/Sustainability team; + contributing to CSR/sustainability projects; + developing agreement templates, guidance and tools; + monitoring of pertinent commercial regulation; THE COTY IDEAL FIT + European qualified lawyer with a solid academic background; Dutch or US qualification or exposure a plus. + Native English or high fluency and drafting skills + Minimum 5 years of commercial law experience, including in a top tier law firm and major multinational company; + Strong multijurisdictional commercial contracts’ experience, including significant negotiation and drafting experience; + Strong interpersonal, communication and analytical skills; + Pragmatic and business-minded; + Communicate effectively and be able to deal with diverse and/or complex matters with multiple stakeholders; + Able to handle unanticipated situations calmly and effectively; + Self-motivated, driven and able to work independently and with a sense of urgency; + Performs well under pressure and when dealing with new and challenging situations, ambiguity and complexity; + Organized and able to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment; + Intellectually curious and eager to learn.
