LINUX Systems Administrator Senior

HOW A LINUX SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR SENIOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Maintain daily operation and incident resolution of virtual machines, operating systems, and applications to provide optimum performance and system availabilityTroubleshoot and resolve system-related incidents detected during monitoring, by other technical teams, and by usersProvide Tier 2 or 3 support in an enterprise level, globally distributed environmentInstall, rebuild, configure, maintain, administer, and document UNIX and Linux systems, software, systems-related products, services, settings, directories, storage, etc.Conduct routine maintenance tasks on systems for proactive monitoring such as space usage, deleting log files, dump files, and error correctingCreate, document, and implement repeatable processes to install, test, upgrade, maintain, and patch system environments and its softwareDevelop, recommend, document, implement, and maintain system management policies, procedures, and standardsCreate, modify, delete, and document user accountsComplete and maintain DISA STIGsHave the desire and aptitude for learning and rapidly mastering new applications and technology

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Education: BA/BS or equivalent experienceCertification: 8570 Certification: IAT Level II Certification (CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, or SSCP); AND Computing Environment Certification: RHCSA, Unix+ or equivalent within 6 months of hireUnix/Linux/Sun/SolarisRed Hat System AdministrationKnowledge of Red Hat Open StackPERL ScriptingMicrosoft Office suite and working knowledge of Microsoft VisioRequired Experience: 5+ years of related experience skill sets required**Security Clearance Level: Must be able to obtain and maintain SECRET clearance.Required Skills and Abilities: Red Hat Admin, STIGsLocation: On Customer Site, Fort Huachuca, AZ
