SENIOR LOGISTICIAN (GXP 2025-22084):

 

Bowhead seeks a Senior Logistician to join our GXP Platform and Launch Contract at NSWC Crane, IN. The individual will perform as the Senior Logistician for the COLUMBIA/Dreadnought acquisition program and will directly support the Strategic Systems Program and Dreadnought Testing Measurement, Diagnostics Equipment (TMDE) requirements, as well as government sea trials and fielding requirements.  The individual must be experience with the Strategic Systems Programs or knowledge and background with other DoD workload. Must be organized and multitask while meeting deadlines and assisting the Program. The logistician will work remotely in support to stateside and OCONUS requirements and as such must be a self-starter, able to excel independently, and in a team environment, with little or no supervision.

Responsibilities

Essential functions will include: 

 

Collaborate with Trident Training Facility Future (TTF(F)) United Kingdom (UK) representatives to identify and establish TMDE requirements to make ready for expected Training date(s)Guide the Tech Branches and UK representatives in obtaining the calibration support for new/replacement of unsupported TMDE requirementsAttend and participate in all TMDE program meetings state-side and including UK alike as the TMDE representativeSupport Ship Installation and Test program (SITP)Coordinate with UK TMDE community to ensure all TMDE identified for SITP support is UK compliant prior to procurement and shippingAnalyze program requirements and schedule as it relates to data sheets, procurement, and calibration support development. Identify risks, issues, and or areas of concern regarding TMDE.Coordinate technical evaluation with the TMDE Technical Evaluation Team.Other duties as required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree with ten (10) years of experience.  Experience may be considered in lieu of education.Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contactsStrong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team

 

Physical Demands:

Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of timeMust be able to twist, bend and squat periodically

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must able to obtain a security clearance at the Secret level.  Applicants who currently hold a secret clearance are strongly encouraged to apply.  US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
