1. To do a Logistics Network Study based on BOM and identify the required Ocean Lane Setup 

2. Network setup for all Import parts

3. Co-ordinate with Purchasing to ensure the Ocean Lane Contract In place within the defined timeline         

3. Ensure Trading Company Setup within the defined Timeline                                                                

4. Continuously Monitor and Evaluate the Performance of Ocean and Air Carriers                              

5. Identify and Implement Cost Reduction Ideas                                          

7. Ensure all Inbound Logistics Launch Metrics Targets are achieved                                                                     

8. Co-ordinate with SCM in resolving Shipment Delay issues due to Ocean and Air Carriers                            

9. Support Inventory Optimization.

10. Manage day to day operation of Import Logistics for all IMG markets to ensure Zero Line Stoppages

11. Have knowledge on the Ocean related documentation

12. To have Innovative mindset with regards to Ocean Logistics

13. Have knowledge on Ocean transit time , ports, weather pattern, geo political issues and take optimal actions on having the right Transit time
