Senior Logistics Manager

Ecolab is hiring for a Sr Logistics Manager to join our Global Planning & Logistics COE.  This Logistics leadership role establishes, manages, and executes a portfolio of strategic P&L initiatives to continuously enhance safety, service, and savings Globally with a strong focus in Logistics Warehousing & Transportation.  This leader plays a key role in the supply chain organization by working with all functional areas and fostering strong collaborative relationships with ETS, Planning, Customer Service, Finance and Logistics operations leaders. The successful candidate must be a self-directed achiever, a strong leader, and an excellent cross-functional collaborator.

What You Will Do:

This role manages and leads Global Logistics initiatives of high complexity. By leveraging internal & external benchmarks, this role provides leadership direction, functional best practices, and process improvements for existing operations.  Supports new & emerging business growth and provides analysis/expertise necessary to formulate standard practices/procedures & a digital future.

Leads and owns strategic implementation, tracking of the project pipeline, driving the organization to continuously improve through eliminating losses.Supports development of organizational culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and results.Lead Warehousing & Transportation Global Communities of PracticeParticipate in key user change request development for Logistics solutions through completion and implementation with ETS (IT) and other support teamsSeeks out and quantifies process-improvement opportunities to develop data driven solutions.  Assesses/identifies risk to fulfill the defined objectives.Assesses/critiques resources for projects.  Participates in project selection process, determines benefits, recommends resources/team members.Models operational excellence, visibly demonstrating leadership/change management behaviors.Networks with internal/external resources to bring best practices to the projects/organization.

Position Details:

Location: This position has a preference to be in North America (St. Paul, MN)

Minimum Qualifications: 

Bachelor’s degree 10 years’ experience in transportation, logistics, warehousing, or other related operational rolesGlobal EBS/SAP understanding and experience in ImplementationsAbility to collect and analyze financial and operational data.Proven ability to drive change and standardize process and procedure. Proven ability to develop and maintain a robust performance culture including the use of KPIs to drive continuous improvement. Ability to travel a must.Strong written and verbal communication.

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Operations Management, Engineering, Business, or related fieldMBA or advanced degreeBlack Belt Certification, PMP CertificationManagement of systems implementation for WMS/LMS/TMSSpanish conversational skillsFrench conversational skills
