Senior Logistics Specialist
Title: Senior Logistics Specialist KBR is seeking a Senior Logistics Specialist to join our team. This position supports the NAVAIR PMA-231 Advanced Hawkeye Command and Control platform office in our Point Mugu, California location. The successful candidate will participate in meetings and collect, complete, organize, and interpret technical data. Functional Job Description: + Prepares logistics support documentation and source data, such as logistics operational management/user documents, integrated logistics support plans, user logistics support summaries, post-production support plans, and logistics implementation plans. + Implements logistics plans, databases, and support files to support the fielding of new complex information systems or major modifications. + Applies logistics principles and methods to specialized logistics solutions. + Performs logistics database management functions. + Performs logistics inventories and related logistics functions. + Works independently and leads the implementation of logistics discipline. Specific tasking will include but is not limited to: + Act as the Degrader Action Cell (DAC) lead to identify root causes and implement corrective actions + Lead and participate in recurring meetings with Industry partners + Act a liaison between PMA-231 and the Fleet to identify top degraders, elevating to the Reliability Control Board (RCB) + Manage SHORECAL allowance for critical Embedded COMSEC components + Manage Internal Communication System, while providing valuable feedback from the Fleet and Subject Matter Experts (SME) + Facilitate site visits between NSWC Crane and Fleet Sailors Basic Qualifications: Education: + Bachelor’s Degree OR + Associate’s degree plus four (4) years {for a total of sixteen (16)} years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description may be substituted for a Bachelors’ degree. OR + High School Diploma plus eight (8) years {for a total of twenty (20)} years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description may be substituted for a Bachelors’ degree. Basic Qualifications: + Twelve (12) or more years of combined experience performing duties described in the functional description. + Must be highly proficient Microsoft Office (Word; Excel; PowerPoint; Project & Outlook). + Must be a self-starter and be able to co-lead meetings and capture actions items and meeting minutes. + A current Secret Clearance is required. Applicant selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. + Must exhibit well-developed verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal skills; analytical skills; attention to detail; organizational skills; ability to assess, apply, and recommend improvements to established business processes; and can balance priorities to work effectively in the fast-paced program office environment. Scheduled Weekly Hours: + 40 hours/week Compensation: + $117,370 - $176,000 The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity. Additional Compensation: KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of a sign-on bonus, relocation benefits, short-term incentives, long-term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
