Senior Logistics Specialist with German and English (focus on global transport) (f/m/d)

As a Senior Logistics Specialist, you are a part of a professional logistics team at Siemens Hub Europe and play a key role in global transportation while always focusing on customer experience. Areas of high importance are customer orientation, delivery performance, delivery time and transport costs optimization. You are a problem-solver with good decision-making skills for complex transport issues, fluently communicating in German and English. Then apply and start your professional journey in our team.
What will be your future tasks?Close cooperation with forwarders and various internal departments on a global level. Ensuring smooth communication flow with internal and external business partners. Acting as a first escalation level for complex transport issues worldwide. Performance monitoring (including KPIs) and handling of general issues in global transport network with our carriers. Handling of transport related claims, e.g. loss and damage, by following insurance procedures. Initiating changes in logistics master data, e.g. routes and forwarders. Consult internal stakeholders for cost-effective shipping modes. Identifying process optimization and initiate process enhancements. Compliance with company policies and shipping legislation. Readiness for working in the office (~ 10-20%). Your defining qualities: Commercial education in global transport / logistics with min. 5-8 years professional experience in this field. Good knowledge of SAP and MS Office applications. C1 level English and min. B2 level German (both written and spoken)Customer service is your passion,Good problem-solving skills and can-do attitude. Moderate and leading meetings with various stakeholders worldwide. Ability to build relations based on trust and partnership. Highly organized and able to manage productivity targets. Attention to quality and details while seeing the bigger picture. Growth and winning mindset. Awareness of culture differences. Resilience.
