At our facility in Ashland you can develop your full potential, sustainably, by applying your expertise within the Containerboard Packaging Group division as the Senior Logistics Supervisor where you develop and execute inbound routing and drop plans using company assets and third-party carriers for raw materials; recycled paper. You lead a team of 18 Coordinators, Technicians, and Material Handlers, supporting their logistics efforts and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. In addition, you will: 
 

Oversee the daily logistics activities, including receiving, storing, and distributing materials Lead and train staff, promoting a culture of safety and efficiency. while conducting regular safety training sessions and discussion Establish and uphold safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a secure workplace. Perform routine safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance Conduct monthly review of all areas (Inbound, Outbound & warehouse) to track team performance, on-going projects, areas of improvement, etc. Monitor inventory levels and manage stock to prevent shortages or overstock situations Utilize logistics IT systems (SAP) to optimize inventory control Assist Inbound team with cycle counts and inventory management principles to ensure optimal inventory levels of OCC are kept on-site

Leadership and expertise in promoting buy-in to proposed solutions and rallying their team around objectives Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a leadership role in logistic, warehousing or related field Proficiency in SAP is a strong asset Bachelor's degree in Logistic or related field or experience in lieu of education Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices in logistics operations Ability to communicate effectively with a problem-solving mindset Autonomy, strong sense of responsibility, and strong personal and professional ethics
