T he Senior Maintenance Electrician Technician at Cytiva plays a crucial role in leading and maintaining the utility systems of the manufacturing facility, including HVAC, RODI, Pre-Treatment Skid, and more. Key responsibilities include responding to alarms, addressing maintenance issues, and identifying areas for improvement. The role requires a strong commitment to upholding safety protocols, providing technical support, and meticulously documenting all work performed. Flexibility for on-call and weekend shifts is essential to meet business needs. This position reports to the Manager of Facilities Bioprocess Manufacturing and is part of the facilities team located in Shrewsbury, MA, and will be on-site. What You Will Do: + Perform daily rounds of plant utilities, monitor BMS and ensure all equipment is operating and maintained per Cytiva guidelines. + Perform preventative/corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and building utilities, completing assigned work orders in a timely manner. + Investigate equipment failures and perform repairs, including loss of electrical power and other building disruptions. Who You Are: + Licensed electrician with 3+ years of experience in a facilities environment working on critical pieces of equipment in a regulated environment + Experience operating, monitoring, or maintaining a Building Management System for a controlled environment. + Ability to work collaboratively and productively with peers at various levels of the organization. Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: + Ability to travel amongst sites. Shrewsbury, 80%, 20% other sites as needed. + Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. + Ability to lift, move, or carry equipment up to 50 lbs. It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: + Manufacturing experience in a medical device, pharmaceutical, or cleanroom environment.
