This is a leadership role where you will own the technology, maintenance, process and setting for the equipment for the line. You will possess deep expertise and will be viewed as the technology expert of the line/s.
**How you will contribute**
You will:
+ Partner & enable the line leader(s) to deliver the SQCDSM targets-Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Sustainability& Morale for the lines, to ensure Process stability; Participate in the DMS- Daily Managementsystems meetings at the shift and line level
+ Own the technology and process and centerline settings for the equipment and process and has deep technical mastery of the process and equipment; own the Progressive maintenance systems and work processes and the Progressive Maintenance Key Performance Indicators for the line/s along with Centerline Management systems; owns the Repairs & Maintenance budget of the line
+ Develop, own and execute the line/s preventive and time-based maintenance systems and plans and builds capability of the team to execute themselves; Build (spends at least 50% of time) technical and maintenance skills of the technicians working in the shifts, so that they are able to operate and maintain their equipment themselves; be part of the PM Pillar, own all PM systems and work process at the line level and lead some of them at the department level
+ Partner with the Asset and Reliability team for system improvement and execution of special maintenancetasks; be responsible for Change Management on the line/s, localization of spares and proper break-downanalysis and R&M cost reduction for the line/s; represent the department/line/s as the site technology owner in the regional and global technology forums
+ Assist in VSU for the new initiatives and enables the VSU team; help the line leader in internal and external benchmarking and reapplication; be the subject matter expert on one of the component categoriesand will be a trainer of PM related subjects for the plant
**What you will bring:**
+ Manufacturing experience (i.e. process, continuous improvement, maintenance, line leadership roles, etc.)
+ Qualified on the I2M / IIM Process.
+ Qualified on AM Step 3.
+ Capable of leading and influencing people at higher and lower levels.
+ Understands and is trained on key pillars like IIM, AM, and PM.
+ A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career.
+ Strong operational & manufacturing leadership experience in the food manufacturing industry with experience in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), 5S, Integrated Lean 6 Sigma’s tools and concepts.
+ Excellent communication (verbal & written).
+ Coaching and leadership skills in a team-based environment.
+ Demonstrated abilities in analytics, problem solving, and team building
+ Strong financial & business acumen, project management skills, and knowledge of industrial maintenance and manufacturing equipment.
**Education / Certifications:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent technical degree within the food industry (minimum).
**Job specific requirements:**
+ 5+ years of experience in maintenance management in food manufacturing or related industries
+ Maintenance experience is required.
+ Preventive Maintenance knowledge required.
+ Experience in union-labor is preferred.
+ Proven leadership experience required.
+ Experience in with HPO methodologies and/or lean six sigma is highly preferred!
+ **_Schedule:_** _Monday - Friday, 1st shift (7:00 am - 4:00 pm) + weekend overtime as needed._
_This position is on-site in our Chicago Plant, 7300 S Kedzie Ave, Chicago IL 60629._
_The anticipated base salary range for this position is_ _$92,800 - $127,600;_ _the exact salary depends on_ _several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. The salary range may vary based on geographic_ _location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with_ _possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results._
