This is a great opportunity for an experienced residential Maintenance Technician ready to grow their leadership skills and take the next step in their career!As a Senior Maintenance Technician with Bell, you will perform a wide variety of maintenance, repair, grounds keeping, and other interior and exterior maintenance duties for the community with a staff of at least 3 Maintenance Technicians under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor. This position performs routine maintenance and repair on community equipment that includes plumbing, light bulb replacement, A/C maintenance, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical repair.

Always show respect for residents and community staff, providing excellent customer service Perform routine interior and exterior community maintenance as scheduled and requested (may include painting, snow/ice removal, gutter cleaning, replacing filters, working with trash compactors, etc.) Respond to all repair requests and maintenance concerns from residents and staff Report equipment malfunctions or breakdowns as well as any hazardous conditions to the Maintenance Supervisor in a timely manner Maintain resident privacy and receive proper authority before entering resident apartments Ensure that all maintenance items are kept in a safe area to prevent injuries Attend in-service training and education sessions, and follow all safety/OSHA requirements Work with vendors as instructed, such as landscaping, painting, asphalt, etc. Regular attendance and punctuality
What you bring to our team:
Demonstration of Bell Core Values Minimum of 18 years of age High school degree or equivalent 1-3 years of previous maintenance experience desired preferably in a similar facility Basic understanding and ability to repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, and mechanical systems HVAC, EPA and/or CPO certifications may be required in many communities based on staffing levels Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills Ability to successfully work on a team Excellent written and oral communication skills Availability to work days, evenings, weekdays, and weekendsPhysical requirements of the job:
Walking, bending, reaching, climbing, and lifting to 30 lbs.Ability to work with mechanical and electrical equipment, as well as hazardous materialsMust be comfortable with heights and moving heavy objects#LI-RM1
