Schedule: Tues-Sat, 1:30pm-10pm
Pay: $29/hour
Responsibilities:
-Plan and schedule maintenance activities, including reviewing and updating MP-2 documentation, tracking equipment maintenance, the availability and procurement of parts and equipment, and scheduling staff
-Perform preventative/predictive maintenance on process systems to include; mill, production, packaging, utility, and other facility equipment
-Report on maintenance activities, training and orientation of employees, and identify and implement cost saving ideas as necessary
-Lead site maintenance, including all buildings, grounds, and equipment
-Complete aspects of human resource management including performance management, training, and coaching within company policy and regulatory compliance
-Promote efficient initiatives through participation, training, and staff engagement in continuous work improvement activities
-Perform Emergency Evacuation procedures, including documentation requirements
-Proactively identify and execute on continuous improvement opportunities in the areas of: safety, food safety, quality, productivity, and
sanitation
-Other duties, as assigned
Working hours: 1:30 PM - 10:00 PM
Skills:
Military training and experience in a relevant Military Occupational Specialty (MOS)
Maintain a current Minnesota State Boiler license and completed respirator certification
Education:
Associate
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
-Two-year associates degree or higher in technical field (mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, electro-mechanical, controls and automation, etc.) or equivalent
-3+ years hands-on experience in a mechanic, maintenance, electrical, electro-mechanical, controls and automation, or related role, or equivalent education
-Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and overtime
-3+ years leadership experience
-Previous maintenance experience in a food manufacturing facility
-Previous experience reading blueprints and schematics
-Previous experience with MIG, TIG, and stick welding
-Previous experience with power transmission components; belt drives, chain drives, bearings, motors & gears
-Previous experience with drill presses, lathes, Bridgeport-type mills
-Experience with operation and maintenance of forklifts, scissor lifts, and articulated lifts
