Intapp is seeking an experienced, initiative-taking, detail-oriented, and customer service focused Senior Manager of Accounting to join our Finance team. Reporting to the Assistant Corporate Controller, this role will lead the accounting team, ensure compliance with accounting standards, manage close processes, and provide accurate financial analysis to senior management. This individual will also be involved in managing audits, improving financial systems, and ensuring the accuracy of financial data used for decision-making.
What you would do:
Manage and mentor a team of accountants, providing leadership and guidance on accounting best practices.
Lead and manage the monthly financial close including global consolidations, review of journal entries and reconciliations, and coordination between key teams to ensure timely close of financial periods.
Prepare, review, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
Ensure SOX compliance maintenance, documentation and testing for accounting operations business processes for areas of responsibility.
Oversee preparation for audits and liaise with external auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audits.
Support Financial Reporting and Technical Accounting team where needed with respect to related 10-Q/10-K disclosures and assist in assessing accounting implications including implementation of new accounting pronouncements or new business initiatives.
Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with internal controls.
Identify areas for process improvements and lead the implementation of best practices and technology solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional departments to provide financial insights and support business decisions.
Participate/lead other ad-hoc projects as needed.
What we are looking for:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with 4+ years of management experience with demonstrated strengths in managing close processes and consolidations for a multinational organization
Intermediate to Advanced NetSuite expertise and experience with administration of close management tools like Blackline Software
SaaS company experience
Comprehensive understanding of financial accounting and reporting under U.S. GAAP and strong track record of SOX 404(b) compliance
Excellent communication skills, both within and across finance teams, but also with business partners (FP&A, HR, Marketing, IT, Legal, and other business leaders)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, Word and PowerPoint software applications
Ability to meet stringent deadlines and competing priorities
Self-starter who is very comfortable working independently, but also works well within and across teams
Strong problem solving, planning, quality control, adaptability and cross-functional collaboration skills
Detailed oriented with excellent analytical and organizational skills
Public company experience strongly preferred
CPA strongly preferred
