Sr. Manager, Specialized Partner Programs, Walmart Connect

Walmart Connect (the advertising network arm for Walmart) is dedicated to driving measurable outcomes for our suppliers, merchants, stores, GMs, brand advertisers, ad tech partners, and agencies. Our full funnel ad solutions leverage Walmart’s in-store and online data, extensive reach, and to provide measurable results for our clientele. With a range of flexible pricing and buying models, including self-service; these solutions help businesses build brand awareness, engage with Walmart consumers, and convert Walmart consumers to shoppers.
Walmart Connect is seeking an experienced Sr. Manager, Specialized Partner Programs to build strategy and oversee the creation and execution of discrete programs to meet evolving customer needs. You’ll contribute to a high-caliber team in a business that is experiencing rapid and dramatic growth. We are looking for demonstrated performance in a constantly changing, ambiguous environment, and problem-solving leadership with limited oversight.
The Sr. Manager, Specialized Partner Programs [who reports into the Director of Partner Network] is integral to creating programs to support Data Clean Room (DCR) partners, Mixed Media Model (MMM) partners, and other net new programs to support our partner network. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in advertising technology, program management, and relationship building, combined with a passion for driving innovation and measurable outcomes. This role will work cross-functionally internally on execution with a focus on scaled solutions to support our growing business.
Responsibilities
Design and Build Partner Programs: Develop robust frameworks for new partner programs. This includes defining objectives, operational processes, and key performance indicators from the ground up.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including product, sales, marketing, legal, and finance, to design scalable and sustainable program structures. Ensure alignment across teams on program objectives and execution plans.
Market Research & Benchmarking: Conduct comprehensive research to understand market trends, competitive offerings, and advertiser needs. Use these insights to inform the design of differentiated partner programs that provide unique value to advertisers.
Operationalizing Programs: Define and document program workflows, operational processes, and partner engagement models. This includes creating SLAs, onboarding procedures, and escalation paths for issue resolution.
Resource Development: Collaborate with marketing and training teams to develop resources such as playbooks, FAQs, and training materials for internal teams and external partners.
Scaling and Iteration: Pilot new programs with select partners, gather feedback, and iterate to improve program design before scaling to broader adoption.
Measurement: Track and report on program metrics, including partner engagement, revenue contribution, and advertiser satisfaction. Use insights to refine partnership strategies and drive continuous improvement.
Minimum Qualification
5+ years of client facing experience in business development, ad tech partnerships, product management for search, ecommerce marketplace
Experience with process implementation and program management
Ability to achieve and exceed deadlines
Project management experience, including multitasking to lead and execute multiple projects in parallel
Preferred Qualification
Knowledge of advertising, ad tech, retail, and partnerships
Ability to develop and get alignment for strategic plans in a new space
Ability to translate complexity into action plans and communication in a succinct manner
Ability to work cross-functionally with peers and managers, both internally/externally
Experience working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
BA/BS with excellent academic performance (or equivalent experience)
Deep passion building great products, startups, developer/partner ecosystem and the business of innovation
Experience working with large datasets

Hoboken, New Jersey US-10279:The annual salary range for this position is $108,000.00-$216,000.00
San Bruno, California US-08848:The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00-$234,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
