The Good Eating Company is seeking a Senior Manager, Audio Visual & Technical Services for our client Northstar 8 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Our Client has created exceptional space that sets a new standard in luxury office space, with a unique blend of customers and services. We are seeking a dynamic manager who is focused on elevating the guest experience.
The Senior Manager, Audio Visual & Technical Services leads AV/Tech performance and experience throughout Northstar 8, the Skyboxes, the Skygarden, the Rosewood Room and Northstar Golf Club. The Senior Manager, Audio Visual & Technical Services also provides general audio-visual and IT support to the General Store, Northstar Cafeteria, Krona Café, and the Walkin’ Dog. The Senior Manager, Audio Visual & Technical Services reports directly to the General Manager.
Key duties of the Senior Manager, Audio Visual & Technical Services:
Execute all AV and IT needs for all hospitality features, including Northstar 8 and the Skyboxes, including but not limited to, setting up and tearing down events, tenant move ins/ outs, and any general client, attendee, tenant, or member supportCollaborate with event planners and operations teams to ensure seamless AV and IT execution of events, addressing any client concerns and special requestsEnsure ongoing operability of high-speed and secure internet throughout all areas. Arrange customer Wi-Fi subnetworks, SSIDs and other client arrangementsPresents upsell and enhancement opportunities during the planning phase to generate post-contract revenue for Northstar 8 and the SkyboxesEnsure that all audio-visual equipment, including sound systems, projectors, screens, and lighting, are well-maintained and fully operational for events and daily use. This includes regular inspections, troubleshooting, and coordinating repairs or replacements with vendors as neededArrange occasional specialty AV beyond the built-in on-site featuresCoordinate with network maintenance, managed Wi-Fi and other vendors to ensure customer service and satisfactionFoster a positive work environment and provide leadership and guidance ensuring exceptional hospitality and service delivery to clients, attendees, and membersEnsure the ongoing training and operability of golf simulators and coordinate any necessary repairs

Qualifications & RequirementsBasic Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Management Experience - 3 years
Basic Functional Experience - 3 years of work experience in audio visual or technical support or related field
