What is the opportunity?
Plans, develops, and directs the marketing efforts for a particular brand or product line. Typically manages 2 or more specialized departments comprised of supervisors, managers, professionals, and/or large numbers of operational support employees.
What will you do?
Seeking synergy with and leveraging marketing resources with other brand managers; working with client advice teams to identify and implement appropriate strategies.Coordinating activities of specialists in production, advice, advertising, promotion, and related areas. Managing, developing, and implementing marketing activities for an assigned brand.Directing advertising campaigns which emphasize brand quality and value.Analyzing brand performance, brand competitiveness, and product trends in the marketplace and developing strategies for assigned brand based on research and analysis; reviewing and enhancing brand image to match corporate goals and vision.What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
Partner with field marketing, product & corporate marketing, brand/advertising/media, digital marketing, and other teams to develop content, graphic and digital designs and materials that are on-brand and meet key business partner’s needs.Collaborate with content and brand partners on ensuring alignment on content/tone standards and brand standards/style guides, optimizing to meet the needs of RBCWM-US and support RBC standards.Support the field marketing team in support of financial advisors with their local marketing efforts by balancing enterprise brand standards with advisor’s local needs, seeking consistency whenever possible.Set direction for team activities – coverage and workflow management for content strategy and development, editorial, and all aspects of the creative process in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Goal-setting and measurement – qualitative and quantitativeQualitative: satisfaction around creative servicesQuantitative: ROI of marketing programs, productivity and workflowEnsuring team has tools needed to serve business partners and advisorsVendor managementPartnering with internal and external business partners to ensure business partner needs are being metAll aspects of people leadership (hiring, performance management, resource planning, budget management, onboarding and administration).Bachelor’s degree, with minimum of 2 years of people leadership and 7-10 years’ of related experience.What’s in it for you?

This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
