Purpose:
Responsible for aligning the strategic goals and objectives of the Company with capabilities and key business and IT initiatives. The primary focus is on business motivations, operations, and analysis frameworks and related processes that link these functions together. The Senior Manager works to develop an integrated view of the business footprint using a repeatable approach, cohesive framework, and available industry standard techniques.

+ Facilitate discussions with business leaders to identify business capabilities in relation to current and future business objectives
+ Collaborate with the Finance Transformation program, providing input to scope, opportunities, and process changes
+ Assist in defining strategic initiatives by leveraging capabilities and technology, advising on impacts, dependencies, overlaps, etc.
+ Work closely with Information Technology teams to deliver business value.
+ Provide recommendations and solutions, advocating and driving the adoption of “best practices” to ensure standardization of business architecture across Finance
+ Contribute to the development of the transformation roadmap and support projects in Delivery. Assist project teams with objectives, metrics, benefits, incremental adoption of business value, etc.
+ Demonstrate business thinking, while remaining aligned to strategic vision, to define practical solutions that align with corporate strategy
+ Manage priorities, deliverables, and timelines effectively with minimal need for escalation
+ Advise on execution strategy and the impacts of technical or functional direction and resource allocation within a Finance function or other business segments.
+ Serve as a source of expert advice, influence change, and frame information in a broader organizational context
+ Provide guidance, make recommendations, and collaborate with business to ensure solutions meet business needs on complex projects or programs.
+ Identify and lead problem resolution for complex requirements-related issues at all levels
+ Stay abreast of new functionality becoming available and drive the deployment of feature releases
Outcomes:
+ Process flows, pain points, metrics, business cases
+ Roadmaps to demonstrate current state, future state, and improvements to be gained throughout incremental adoption
+ Business architecture and data flow diagrams, as-is and future state
+ Approved finance requirement document in line with future state
+ · Recommendations of best practices
+ Documented application adoption and process recommendations
+ Translating strategic finance initiatives to the Delivery team for design and execution of solutions
+ Agreement that solutions and process changes fit Finance’s long-term goals
+ Periodic roadmap performance reviews with key stakeholders, both financial review and status (accomplishments, failures, deferred, etc.)
Qualifications and Experience:
+ 6+ years of related experience required, including 2+ years of experience participating in large cross-functional projects
+ 3+ years of direct or indirect people leadership experience required
+ Experience building metrics to support business cases
+ Strong analytic and fact-based decision-making skills
+ Must possess both outstanding written and oral communication skills
+ Must be self-motivated and accountable
+ Strong expertise providing direction to and working closely with business and technical teams
+ Ability to drive work with minimal supervision and successfully remove/resolve issues as they arise
+ Ability to adapt rapidly in a fast-moving environment and react quickly, dynamically, and intelligently to shifting priorities
+ Ability to interact with a diverse set of technical and non-technical stakeholders on highly complex projects
+ Excellent requirements gathering, analysis, and solutioning skills
+ Ability to manage time commitment among multiple projects simultaneously
+ Expert in building and maintaining relationships with leadership, stakeholders, and delivery teams
+ Proficient in using Microsoft Office products including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
