The role is part of Portfolio Management team within GFT, focusing on providing efficient and effective financial and business management and support to Risks & Compliance Technology (RCT) portfolio.

Job Description
What Will You Do?
Lead a team of 5+ direct reports and demonstrate a growth mindset to drive robust financial conversations aligned with business demand. Coordinate across RCT and be the point of contact for any financial initiatives that impact RCT Own end-to-end financial accountability for RCT, including ownership of accrual process, management reporting and planning/forecasting process to achieve credible financial results.Provide strategic insights and readily available financial reports to key stakeholders.Provide meaningful ad hoc reporting and analysis on expenses and resourcing, including professional fees spend, to ensure awareness and provoke corrective action where needed.Proactively manage and monitor the financial forecast for RCT’s Application Development and Maintenance spending against plan by analyzing monthly results and providing relevant messaging of financial position and issues to be addressed.Utilize superior collaboration skills in order to work across RCT to ensure alignment regarding planned forecast and actual delivery, and ensuring accurate and timely financial recovery each month.Actively report and escalate where required on any identified financial overage and provoke corrective action as needed. Implement automated solutions for all financial reports, such as financial recovery and resourcing.Responsible for implementing, streamlining, and conveying best practices on financial management to ensure Audit ready documentation, and innovation to improve service delivery.Liaise, support and collaborate with T&O Finance and GFT planning teams as required, including providing advice and counsel RCT Senior Management to enhance their ability to manage finances and appropriately respond to queries.Support various ad-hoc requests and the overall business management function as required. Provide support to IT PM’s and Scrum Masters on project deliverables and overall management as needed, including attending critical project meetings and taking minutes for large projects.What Do You Need to Succeed? Must-Have's:
Undergraduate degree in Finance, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related fieldMinimum of 5 years’ work experience in analyzing and conveying company or divisional results3+ years people management experiencesStrong Communication and stakeholder management skills, able to use collaborative approach that balances individual progress with team goals.Ability to effectively analyze and reconcile data from multiple source systems, combined with a mindset to ensure that presented data is credible, transparent and consistentGood understanding of project management and software development phases/lifecycleExperience implementing automatic business management processesExpert command of Microsoft applications, and strong understanding of data manipulation tools (MS Office. DB tools)Nice-to-Have:
