Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Policy and Strategy Senior Manager, Corporate Affairs to drive policy analysis, environment shaping, and stakeholder engagement for key therapeutic areas, particularly Obesity and Alzheimer’s disease. This role will align corporate affairs strategies with business objectives, drive proactive policy engagement, and foster cross-functional collaboration at both local and global levels.
Key Responsibilities:
Policy Monitoring & Strategic Insights
Track, evaluate, and consolidate healthcare policy updates, identifying key trends and business implications.Develop policy reports and monthly newsletters to keep internal stakeholders informed.Provide policy impact analysis and strategic recommendations to support decision-making.Corporate Affairs Strategy & Environment Shaping
Develop and implement Corporate Affairs strategies for key therapeutic areas.Identify policy opportunities and risks, ensuring business readiness and resilience.Work closely with cross-functional teams in China to shape the policy environment for innovation and new product launches.Align local corporate affairs initiatives with global and regional strategies, leveraging International Business Unit campaigns.Advocacy Materials & Project Management
Support the development of policy papers, position papers, and thought leadership materials to influence policy discussions and enhance corporate credibility.Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, oversee and manage relevant projects, ensuring smooth execution and alignment with corporate objectives.Qualifications & Requirements
Education & Experience
Master’s degree or higher in Public Policy, Healthcare Management, Medicine, Public Administration, Law, or a related field.5+ years of experience in government affairs, market access, policy analysis, or strategic planning within healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or biotech (preferred).Skills & Competencies
Strong understanding of China’s healthcare policy landscape, regulatory frameworks, and industry trends.Excellent communication, relationship-building, and strategic thinking skills.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, demonstrating initiative, flexibility, and problem-solving abilities.Language & Communication
