Senior Manager, Clinical Information Services

In this pivotal role, a Senior Manager, Clinical Information Services will serve as a lead on specialized initiatives and programs and act as a prime consultant on large projects, impacting long-term goals and objectives that support the remarkable vision of Ontada.

Responsibilities

Part of your day will be spent working on the following core duties:

Manage initiatives based on industry-leading clinical content management roadmaps and priorities.Coordinate the implementation of business and functional requirements defined by Product and Clinical Content Services Leadership.Manage third-party vendor agreements for standardized clinical content data (FDB, SNOMED, ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, etc.) and the processes to implement that data.Manage the content development for multiple Ontada technologies.

You will also help in areas of leadership and collaboration:

Lead those involved in the development, design, and optimization of clinical content data in information technology systems driven by industry standards and business initiatives.Direct the effort required to protect Ontada’s data, tools, and information systems.Collaborate and work across internal teams (Content, Product, Engineering, Design, Implementation, and Regulatory).Receive a problem statement or objectives and then identify and execute on a strategy to meet those objectives with little to no oversight.Interact daily with direct reports and/or functional peer groups to brainstorm, exchange, or present objectives, progress, or deliverables.

Minimum Requirements

Degree or equivalent experience. Typically requires 9+ years of professional experience and 1+ years of supervisory and/or management experience.

Education

4-year degree; B.S. degree in business, health, informatics or related field, or equivalent experience

Critical Skills

Understanding of healthcare product and implementation management requirementsExhibit outstanding communication and customer/ stakeholder management skillsProvide excellent ability to build relationships, align and influence diverse stakeholders, and achieve outcomesValue the opportunity to improve lives of oncology providers and patientsPossess familiarity with terminology such as ICD-10, CPT, SNOMED, LOINC, HCPCS, and HL7Has experience with third-party vendor clinical data managementUnderstanding of and capability to write requirements (operational and functional)Has experience managing remote employees with varying clinical backgroundsDemonstrate strong decision-making skills in terms of clinical knowledgeCommunicate departmental goals to workgroupUnderstand the use of Clinical Information Systems for documentation of patient care delivery10+ years’ experience in clinical/healthcare field; clinical and/or pharmacy experience preferred

Your Work Environment 

10% travel within USA will be required.All candidates must be authorized to work in the USA. Current or future sponsorship is not available for this role.Relocation benefits will not be provided for this role.

Our Base Pay Range for this position

$125,900 - $209,800
